At Historic Bethabara Park, examine the earliest known example of a colonial medicinal garden.

The Historic West End neighborhood, designed in 1890, features curvy streets, terraced lawns and walking tours. See beautiful Queen Anne, colonial revival, craftsmen and Victorian style homes.

The gardens at Old Salem Museums and Gardens remain locked in time. When Salem was a flourishing church town, each lot included a garden maintained year-round. Today, Old Salem has one of the leading horticultural restoration programs in the country.

Reynolda Gardens, originally part of the Reynolds estate, includes four acres of formal gardens, a greenhouse and 125-acres of fields and woodlands.

Tanglewood Park's arboretum and gardens offers the herb, friendship, fragrance and shade gardens. The gardens will eventually include Japanese, winter effects, ability and children's gardens. The award-winning Rose Garden showcases more than 800 different roses including 400 American Rose Society winners.
