Someone in your group wants to hit the links and someone else doesn't?  There are a number of options for those who are traveling with a golfer.

If you are playing one of the two courses at Tanglewood Park - the Championship or the Reynolds - encourage the other members of your group to stay at the park and take advantage of the excellent walking or horseback trails.  Head out for a picnic in one of their many scenic areas or relax under the shade of a shelter.  Cool off with a paddleboat ride on the lake.

Want to take in some local flavor?  Try a visit to Mrs. Hanes Moravian Cookies in Clemmons, the sweetest flavor around.  Watch Moravian cookies being made by hand in this seventh generation cookie maker's factory.  Be sure to try one (or two!) of these delicately thin cookies.

While you are golfing, your non-golfing companions might enjoy some time at one of our many wineries.  Located throughout Forsyth and surrounding counties, wineries are close no matter which course you are playing.

Shopping may be considered a sport by some, and Winston-Salem has championship-quality venues.  From antiques to furniture to one of the largest shopping destinations in the Southeast, Hanes Mall, you will never hear a complaint from the non-golfer in the group.

Winston-Salem is a traveler's treasure for the golfer and non-golfer alike.
