For the convenience of our visitors,
Visit Winston-Salem has created special
tours of our city, Cultural Corridors. These tours were created
by taking our terrific visitor attractions, combining them with
the things only locals know, sprinkling in some intriguing stories,
and then adding clever drive narratives, complete with directions
and hometown music. Visitors can select a favorite theme (see below)
and then click through for more details on these made-to-order adventures.

Walk along the path of the Great Wagon Road and soak up 250 years
of history. Tour Historic Bethabara Park, Bethania, Old Salem, the
West End Historic District, Horne Creek Living Historical Farm and
the fascinatingly odd Körner’s Folly. See our sites.
Live our history. Make your own memories.

Because of the growing number of wineries, separate tours have been
created to allow wine lovers to return again and again. Here are
just a few of those in our area. To our west, find Westbend Vineyards,
the oldest in the region; RayLen Vineyards, a popular event site;
Shelton Vineyards, also know for its cheeses; Hanover Park Vineyards
with tastings housed in an old farmhouse; Rag Apple Lassie, named
after the owners' prized cow. In the eastern portion of the Yadkin
Valley is Childress Vineyards and to our north are Black Wolf Vineyards
and Old North State Winery.
